Welcome to the Penn Township Sewage Authority

 

The Penn Township Sewage Authority was Incorporated in 1956 as an Authority under the Municipal Authorities Act. The Sewage Authority operates independently of the Penn Township Commissioners, however the members of the Sewage Authority Board are appointed by the Penn Township Board of Commissioners for five (5) year terms. It is empowered to establish rates, plan, construct and fund projects related to providing municipal sewer service to the residents of Penn Township.

PTSA is committed to providing our rate payers with the highest quality wastewater services, utilizing environmentally sensitive equipment for efficient, safe, and effective collection and conveyance of sanitary sewage generated within our service area. We will strive to uphold the confidence of our Customers and maintain a rate schedule that is as fair and equitable as possible. In carrying out our mission, we will initiate, promote, and keep abreast of advances in wastewater collection, administrative technology, and sound financial planning.
